In Mol we have a canal terminal, situated at the side-canal of the Albert Canal, supplemented with storage facilities for containers, packed goods (plastics, steel, household products), general goods and bulk goods.
Packed Goods & General Goods
Daily departures between the ports of Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam guarantee a continuous and efficient connection between the deep-sea ports and our inland container terminal. Packed goods or general goods are handled at our own terminal and can be stored directly in our warehouse. Loaded containers can be stored on site and/or be delivered directly to the recipient.
Bulk Goods
Bulk goods are stored at our silo park which consists of 55 silos. Bulk goods in containers can be stored and unloaded later at the customer’s using tilting chassis equipped with a rotary valve.
Combination of Terminal & Storage Area
Thanks to the unique combination terminal – storage area in the same location, no road transport between ship and warehouse is needed. All facilities required by an importer/exporter can be provided, in part thanks to the good connections with the Netherlands, Germany etc. This eliminates the disadvantages associated with congestion in and around big ports. Moreover, the ample, already granted expansion possibilities allow for flexible anticipation of the customer’s needs.
