OUR HISTORY
Gheys is a family-owned company which has been active
in the fields of transport and logistic services since 1896.
Three generations of experience provide the necessary
know-how at all levels of our organization and have led to
a business philosophy that puts the customer first.
OUR MISSION
We offer logistic services to international producers, distributors,
traders and processors in order to enable them
to focus on their core business. We are located in the
center of the European petrochemical cluster, in the heart
of the European consumer market, enjoying a world-class
transport and logistic infrastructure. We execute our services
with passion, in full compliance with health, safety
and environmental legislation.

OUR CORE BUSINESS
Gheys specializes in the handling and transport of polymers,
with a strong focus on imported polymers. Our
services include warehousing, transport and repacking
solutions. We’ve created an area where plastic producers,
traders, distributors and convertors can move and store
granules and powders. All our warehouses are bonded
warehouses. Our state-of-the art infrastructure allows us
to offer full logistic operations and specialized services,
e.g. bag slitting and (un)loading sea bulk containers. With
our modern fleet of vehicles, kept in impeccable condition,
our transport division is driven by efficiency.
OUR OVERALL SUPPORT
We take care of the co-ordination, follow-up and documentation
of your shipments. Our forwarding department
works together with renowned partners worldwide. We
assist our customers with customs formalities (import/
export documents, fiscal representation ...), port administration
documents, IT integrated system design (EDI, SAP
...) etc. A customer-tailored service is our motto.
OUR AREA
As we are located in the heart of Europe, we operate in an
area with an excellent industrial and transport infrastructure.
We work strictly according to the European
regulations regarding import and export, transport and
warehousing of plastics.
From major polymer production sites all over the world,
a wide range of polymers from different brands pass
through our hubs and are delivered to converters in
Europe.
Our hubs are ideally situated
- next to the Albert Canal (connecting the ports of Antwerp,
Zeebrugge and Rotterdam with the hinterland).
- near the motorway E313, with easy access to the European
road network (connecting the Antwerp area with
the east part of Belgium, down to The Netherlands and
Germany).
Due to our experience, expertise and flexibility,
